"A little bit o' Maureen, she's my wife". It's so catchy, I wonder why Danny didn't use this as his theme song instead.

OKAY I give up. That embedded video is really annoying how it just automatically starts. Here's a link to it instead

IP - I'm all for giving our politicians a hard time but this one is in very poor taste. You don't need to stoop to that level to make a show of the intended target - there's lots of other material to choose from there.
I agree with anon and I know exactly what he means. . .
That Williams was so desperate to pander that way when he was in Opp is a complete embarrassment now that he's Premier.
It just gets in the way of dealing with serious issues like his recently announced bedroom activity subsidies.
Shame!
Shut up - both of you.
Go home and make babies.
No more fallow fields!
I don't get it. Why is this in poor taste? The Premier was good enough to donate his time to a Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser. He performed this act in a public venue and it's been on youtube for YEARS. Let the premier deal with the unintended pun he created.
Babe in Boyland - context is the difference between then and now. The subject is of a personal nature and has no bearing on politics or his ability to perform (or not, for that matter).I've enjoyed IP's other efforts as they have concentrated on political matters. For the record, I do not support Williams, but save my criticism for matters related to his decisions and style of government, not his personal life. I do not see the tie between a personal matter and ability. Perhaps you'd care to elaborate on how you feel that the "pun" is relevant to the election or William's capabilities? Maybe I'm missing something.
Personal matter. . . . ?
He's had a vasectomy? How would you know?!
Even if he did. . .what of it? He's still a great Premier even if he is shooting blanks!
Anon must know something the rest of us don't
The issue is not the video, it is the question posed introducing it. Either let the video stand on it's own without the innuendo, or answer the question that you are posing in your introduction, assuming that you know the answer.
Baby bonus. Mambo #5.
Maybe funny. Maybe not.
Where's the innuendo? I must be reading something into you didfferent from what you are reading into it.
cccp, obviously you don't pay attention to what you read. What anon said was at the issue is the question posed. You do understand what a question is, don't you?
Just in case you don't, the question is:
"A little bit o' Maureen, she's my wife". It's so catchy, I wonder why Danny didn't use this as his theme song instead?"
If that's not clear enough for you, perhaps you should call the Danny or Maureen Williams personally for clarification on why the question "is in very poor taste."
Anonymous, I read just fine thanks.
I just don't get what you are pointing to.
Would you please explain why you think it's in poor taste?
